Workplace Giving

Mesirow Financial's tenet of personal attention is not limited to within our office doors. But it is supported and encouraged from within, engraining the idea of charitable giving in our employees as a way of life.

For nearly 20 years, Mesirow Financial has sponsored The Workplace Giving Program, a payroll contribution program that provides employees the opportunity to support local and national non-profit organizations. Like so many of our community-based endeavors, this program demonstrates that charitable giving is engrained in the firm, its employees and the way it conducts business. In recognition of their generosity, employees are rewarded with an extra day of paid vacation when they contribute.

Additionally, Mesirow Financial supports its own Community Affairs Committee (CAC) to plan various charitable and community-focused projects each year.

Like so many others, the biggest regret is not being able to do more. Every year, Mesirow Financial uses several factors to determine how we allocate our resources, including the involvement of our clients and employees in an organization's activities. We also focus on contributing to activities and organizations that benefit children and their families, and the critical issues facing them.
