Our Mission

Recognizing the enormous growth of multicultural markets across the United States, Mesirow Financial has developed an Emerging Markets Task Force to better serve growing multicultural markets. Our focus is on building strong relationships—the hallmark of our firm's success—across diverse group of market segments. To achieve this goal, the Task Force will provide resources and best practices for serving multicultural markets, help define new business opportunities for the firm and strives to:

• Foster an environment that is inclusive of a variety of markets, thus building stronger business relationships throughout the community.
• Provide employee educational programs, networking opportunities and resources to assist them in servicing the financial needs of multicultural markets.
• Partner with national and local community organizations to help bridge the cultural gap between the mainstream and multicultural markets.

The task force, established in 2007, has begun by addressing the needs of the Hispanic market—the fastest growing U.S. market—and will later broaden efforts to include other emerging markets. It is our goal to ensure that the firm can anticipate and meet the needs of minority business leaders, institutions and high-net worth individuals across a variety of disciplines and cultures.
