Dominick Mondi is President of Mesirow and CEO, Capital Markets. Mesirow is an independent, employee-owned financial services firm founded in 1937. As president of the firm, Dominick guides the development of the firm's businesses, capital investment policies and performance objectives. As CEO of Capital Markets, he is responsible for leading, coordinating and maximizing the efforts of the Institutional Sales and Trading, Credit Tenant Lease Finance and Structured Debt Products, Public Finance and Sale-Leaseback Capital groups. He heads the municipal bond sales and trading department. He is a member of the firm’s board of directors and was CEO of Mesirow from 2018 through September, 2020.
Dominick brings more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Mesirow in 2008, he was a senior managing director at Bear Stearns, where he led the Chicago municipal sales operations and spearheaded the municipal bond sales efforts in the New York office. He was honored as Bear Stearns’ number one salesman more than 20 times.
Dominick is a member of The Executives' Club of Chicago and The Economic Club of Chicago.
Dominick earned a BS from St. John’s University. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 53 and 63 licenses.
