
Douglas Wicklund is a Director in Mesirow Investment Banking. He is responsible for developing key relationships, leading deal teams throughout the transaction process and providing advisory services on middle-market M&A assignments within the healthcare services sector.
Douglas has more than 11 years of M&A advisory and financing experience as an investment banker and his clients have included privately-held/family-owned businesses, private equity firms and publicly-traded companies.
Prior to joining Mesirow in March 2022, he was an Executive Director in the Healthcare Group at Oppenheimer & Co. Before that, Douglas worked at Stifel as a Director in the Healthcare Group. He began his healthcare investment banking career at Jefferies in New York, NY.
Douglas has completed M&A and financings transactions with an aggregate transaction value of over $16 billion. His focus within healthcare services includes behavioral healthcare, outpatient facilities, physician practices and post-acute care.
Douglas is currently a member of the Battier Take Charge Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing resources for the development and education of underserved youth and teens.
Douglas earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and English (Literature) from Denison University, where he played on the varsity golf and lacrosse teams, a Master of Business Administration from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and a Master of Science in Finance (Beta Gamma Sigma) from the Daniels College of Business at University of Denver. He holds FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses.
