Service sign-up resources
You may sign up for our 3(21) Service with or without our Automatic Execution Service:
With Automatic Execution Service
If you elect our Automatic Execution Service, we will ensure your plan, and the funds within your plan lineup, always qualify for 3(21) fiduciary coverage. To do so, we will provide recommended fund replacement trades to you and Capital Group, when needed. If you agree with our recommended trades, then you will not need to act.
Without Automatic Execution Service
If you do not elect our Automatic Execution Service, we will inform you if your plan, or certain funds within your plan lineup, do not qualify for 3(21) fiduciary coverage. However, you will need to choose your fund replacements from our Elite List and contact Capital Group to initiate a fund trade.
3(21) Service agreements
Please complete, sign and send one (and only one) service agreement to your Capital Group Retirement Plan Services representative.
Form ADV Part 2

Best practices
An Investment Committee helps provide a clear, investment decision-making process that is documented, repeatable and sustainable. Our Investment Committee Best Practices will help you with the most important aspects to consider when setting up an Investment Committee.
Meeting agenda
It is important to have an agenda for each Investment Committee meeting, even when there are no changes that have been made. Download the template to see what a sample meeting agenda might look like.
Meeting minutes
In addition to an agenda, each Investment Committee meeting should also be accompanied by a detailed set of meeting minutes. Here is a template that can serve as a guideline for what meeting minutes could look like.
