Experienced acquisitions expert Justin Maturo joins Mesirow Institutional Real Estate Direct Investments

•    Justin Maturo to join expanding Mesirow Institutional Real Estate Direct Investments team as a Managing Director of Acquisitions 
•    Justin will be directly responsible for acquisitions within select markets for Institutional Real Estate Direct Investments

CHICAGO, April 17, 2024 – Mesirow, an independent employee-owned financial services firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Maturo as a Managing Director in Institutional Real Estate Investments. Justin will work closely with the team to identify attractive investment opportunities that meet the firm's criteria. He will manage all aspects of the acquisition process, including managing, sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, financing and underwriting procedures.

Previously, he was a Managing Director and Principal of Investments at Magnolia Capital, where he co-managed the investments team and was involved in more than $1.5 billion in multifamily transactions. Before Magnolia Capital, Justin was a Senior Vice President at Waterton, a vertically integrated institutional multifamily fund manager. During his tenure, Justin participated in approximately $2 billion in multifamily transactions, including debt and equity investments.
