Adam Oakley

Adam Oakley is a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Mesirow Investment Banking. In this capacity, he provides strategic direction and oversight for the group and manages its day-to-day operations. He is also responsible for developing key relationships, leading deal teams throughout the transaction process and providing advisory services on middle-market M&A assignments within the aerospace and defense and industrials sectors.

Adam has more than 20 years of investment banking and valuation experience in a wide range of industries including aerospace and defense and diversified industrials, among others. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2004, he was at Standard & Poor's Corporate Value Consulting, focusing on intangible asset valuation and other financial advisory services.

Adam serves family businesses, publicly traded corporations and private equity firms alike on a variety of transactions.

Adam earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses.
