Adam Oakley is a Managing Director in Mesirow Investment Banking. He is responsible for developing key relationships, leading deal teams throughout the transaction process and providing advisory services on middle-market M&A assignments within the aerospace and defense and industrial sectors.
Adam has more than 18 years of investment banking and valuation experience in a wide range of industries including aerospace and defense and diversified industrials, among others. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2004, he was an Associate with Standard & Poor's Corporate Value Consulting, focusing on intangible asset valuation and other financial advisory services.
Adam serves family businesses, publicly traded corporations and private equity firms alike on recent transactions including:
- Sale of Spectralux Corporation Human-Machine Interface Product Line to Radiant Power Corporation, a Subsidiary of HEICO Corporation
- Sale of Heads Up Technologies, Inc., a portfolio company of affiliates of Luther King Capital Management, to JLL Partners
- Sale of Avalon Precision Casting, a portfolio company of Keystone Capital, to Sigma Electric Manufacturing Corp., a Portfolio Company of Argand Partners
Adam earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses.
