Family services
We put our resources to work, support the neighborhoods and broader communities where we, and our clients, live and work through youth guidance and wrap-around support.
Metropolitan Family Services
Mesirowās partnership with Metropolitan Family Services (MFS) spans decades, encompassing personal financial contributions by employees, volunteer efforts and support as MFS works to assist more than 93,000 families and individuals annually in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs.

Foundation for Financial Planning
As an RIA Impact Partner with the Foundation for Financial Planning, Mesirow Wealth Advisors deliver pro bono financial planning to individuals and families in need, including active-duty military members and veterans, individuals with cancer, seniors and caregivers and more. Over the past 30 years, FFP has mobilized 30,000+ CFPĀ® professional volunteers, awarded $10.4M+ in grants, and reached more than 767,000 people in need.
ChiArts Foundation
Mesirow proudly supports the ChiArts Foundation and its mission to expand access to high-quality arts education at The Chicago High School for the Arts. We share the belief that all aspiring artistsāregardless of income or previous experienceādeserve the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

We're committed to supporting vibrant economic health in Chicago, our headquarters of nearly 90 years, and to all the communities in the US and abroad where we, and our clients, live and work.
Civic Consulting Alliance
The Civic Consulting Alliance is a nonprofit organization which brings together collaborative, pro bono investments to get things done for the Chicago region. Through a partnership with CCA, Mesirow professionals from multiple lines of business will undertake 3-6 month fellowships, providing project-based expertise to city, county and social impact organizations across the city.

Mesirow empowers employees to support causes they care about through volunteering, donation matching, and payroll giving.
Mesirow Match program
Through this charitable match program, employeesā personal contributions to qualified nonprofit organizations are matched by the firm, continuing a longstanding commitment to our culture and our communities.
Workplace Giving program
Through this program, employees can support one or more organizations, selected by the firm, through a deduction of a specified amount to each paycheck. For annual donations in excess of a certain dollar amount, employees receive an extra day of paid vacation.
