Garry Vaynberg
Garry Vaynberg is a Managing Director in Mesirow’s Investment Banking group. He is responsible for client management, deal execution leadership and new business development within the distribution and supply chain sector.
Prior to joining Mesirow, Garry spent more than 20 years at Piper Sandler where he led the firm’s distribution practice. Garry started his career at A.G. Edwards & Sons, a middle market investment banking firm, and also worked at ShoreView Industries, a middle market private equity firm. Garry has worked on over 100 transactions in his career, including sell-side assignments, buyer advisory, fairness opinions, restructuring advisory and public and private offerings of equity and debt.
Garry earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance, Actuarial Science, and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, and his Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses.
