Alex Buchler is a Managing Director in Mesirow Institutional Sales & Trading. He focuses on a broad range of fixed income securities.

Alex has over 30 years of experience in fixed income sales, covering both large and middle-market sized accounts. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2024, he worked at InspereX (formerly 280 Securities), where he was instrumental in building their cloud-based platform. He also held various sales positions at Baird and RBC.

Alex has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Minnesota and an Master of Business Administration from The University of San Francisco (graduated Beta Gamma Sigma). He holds FINRA Series 24, 7, and 63 licenses.
