Ali Haghighat is President and Head of Taxable Sales and Trading in Mesirow Institutional Sales and Trading. Ali oversees all sales and trading activity including both risk and personnel. He is also a member of Mesirow’s Capital Markets Board of Directors and the Mesirow Capital Markets and Investment Banking Strategy Committee.

Ali has more than 22 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2010, he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Pioneer Investments, and he held investment and research positions at Standish Mellon Asset Management and Banc One Capital Markets.

Ali earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
