Cory Wong is a Director in the Credit Tenant Lease and Structured Debt Products group and Head of SASB Underwriting. He focuses on private single asset and single borrower debt offerings for clients seeking leverage for commercial real estate properties. 

Cory has executed over $6 billion in commercial real estate transactions on the equity and debt side. Prior to joining Mesirow, Cory was Senior Vice President for The Shidler Group and was responsible for sourcing new multifamily, office, hotel, net lease, industrial, and retail acquisitions. Before that, Cory worked on the origination, underwriting, and securitization efforts for LStar Capital, which deployed debt capital on behalf of Lone Star Funds. 

Cory earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Sciences in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School, respectively. He holds the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
