David DiMatteo has more than 25 years of experience in investment banking. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2019, he was a Senior M&A Banker at ING where he ran the London based execution team for several years and was Co-Chairman of the Valuation & Corporate Governance Committee. Prior to ING, David worked as an M&A Banker at Rothschild, before which he was in leveraged finance for the French bank Union Europeenne de CIC. David started his career as a Mutual Fund Accountant for the Pioneer Group in the U.S.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Providence College and a Master of Business Administration from Babson (FW Olin Graduate School of Business). David speaks fluent French, German and Dutch, and has an intermediate level in Spanish and Norwegian.
