Jim Kilbane is a Managing Director in Mesirow Global Investment Management Distribution. He is responsible for maintaining and building relationships with institutional investor clients and prospects as well as with national and regional investment consultants in North America.
Jim has 40 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2005, he served as Managing Director and Head of Consultant Relations and Institutional Client Service for Columbia Management/Stein Roe & Farnham. Before that, he was a Senior Vice President and Director at Putnam Investments. He began his career as a bond investment officer at American National Bank.
Jim currently serves on the board of trustees of Wabash College, his alma mater. He is a member of the board of directors of Chicago Mount Carmel High School’s foundation. He is a member of the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges and the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE). Additionally, he serves on several ad-hoc committees for The Irish American Partnership.
Jim earned an A. B. from Wabash College and a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University.
