Mehryar Emambakhsh is a Vice President and Senior Research Scientist in Mesirow Currency Management. His primary responsibilities are research and model development with an emphasis on machine learning within the Alpha & Macro strategies team.

Mehryar has more than five years of experience, most recently with Cortexica Vision Systems Limited, where he was a Research Scientist designing and implementing deep learning and Bayesian algorithms for video content analysis.

Mehryar earned a PhD in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Bath.
