Bill Gumbert is a Managing Director in Mesirow Public Finance. With 35 years experience in the municipal capital markets, Bill has coordinated the successful completion of over $150 billion in financings to support the needs of local communities. Recognizing the importance of public education in local communities, he specializes in supporting the needs of school districts across Texas.

Prior to joining Mesirow, Bill’s accomplishments include starting the Texas Public Finance group and leading the Municipal Sales (Tier I), Trading & Underwriting at BOK Financial Securities, Inc.  In addition, Bill managed the Texas Public Finance group at RBC Capital Markets.

Bill earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 50, 53. and 63 licenses.
