Matt McCormick is a Managing Director on the Mesirow Capital Formation and Currency Solutions team. He is responsible for the marketing and distribution of the firm’s private capital and currency capabilities to institutional investors and investment consultants across North America. 

Prior to joining Mesirow in 2025, Matt was the Head of Institutional Sales – North America at Alger Management, where he was responsible for leading and developing the institutional distribution team while driving direct institutional and consultant-channel sales. Before that, Matt was Senior Managing Director at Janus Henderson Investors. Previously he held roles at AllianceBernstein, L.P. and RogersCasey, LLC.

Matt earned a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from the University of South Carolina.
