Billy Taki is a member of the investment team and is involved in all aspects of the private equity investment process.

Billy was previously a member of the Mesirow Private Equity team from 2015 to 2019.  Most recently, Billy was a senior associate at ResilienceVC, an early-stage fintech venture capital fund focused on improving financial resilience for all Americans. He brings global experience working with companies focused on improving financial health in underserved communities, previously serving as Head of Strategy for Pluang, an Indonesia-based consumer fintech startup. He was also an investment banking analyst for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Billy earned an MBA from Wharton, an MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois.
