Brad Schrage, CFA, is a Senior Research Scientist specializing in research initiatives for Mesirow’s Currency team.
He has over 20 years of currency management experience. In previous roles within the currency team at Mesirow and Russell Investments, he has optimized alpha portfolio construction; written and maintained the code base for portfolio implementation; co-authored components of the Russell Conscious Currency Indexes; engineered and managed Portfolio Management and Research tools and systems, including Mesirow’s current proprietary PIPS system; and developed ad-hoc bespoke data products for both internal and external use.
Brad earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Miami University, Ohio and a Master of Science in data science from Northwestern University. He holds the FINRA Series 3 license and is a CFA® Charterholder.
