Robert (Bob) Martin is a Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Analyst with Mesirow Wealth Management. Bob works with individuals, families, business owners, and not-for-profit entities to create comprehensive wealth management strategies. Bob's responsibilities also include due diligence of investments and strategies in client portfolios. Bob also provides investment and market commentary for the department, and his investment views have been frequently been quoted in the media on behalf of Mesirow.

Bob joined Mesirow in 2008 and has 19 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2008, he was a Senior Investment Associate at JPMorgan. He is a member of the Mesirow Wealth Management Investment Committee and the Mesirow Wealth Management Research Team. As a member of these committees, he conducts quantitative and qualitative due diligence of equity, fixed income and global tactical allocation funds for implementation into client portfolios and helps develop investment strategy for the business unit. Bob also co-manages an equity portfolio focused on dividend paying stocks.

Bob is a frequent speaker on the WGN radio show “Your Money Matters” with host Jon Hansen and a member of the Mesirow Speakers Bureau. These recognized subject area experts provide perspective on the markets and what is top of mind for institutional and individual investors.

Bob enjoys his involvement with school and charitable organizations and has volunteered as a youth hockey coach. Bob earned a Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
