Tom Vallone is a Director in the Credit Tenant Lease and Structured Debt Products group and leads Mesirow’s equipment financing practice.  

He is responsible for providing customized financing solutions at attractive fixed rates, as well as advisory services related to the structuring, placement, and underwriting of alternative debt and real estate-backed assets. Vallone focuses on equipment-backed financing transactions, working closely with originators, sponsors, and investors to deliver tailored solutions across public and private markets.  

Prior to joining Mesirow, Tom held senior leadership roles in equipment financing at BMO Commercial Bank and Wintrust Financial, where he focused on large-ticket equipment financing and vendor financing agreements. Throughout his career, Tom has played a key role in developing and scaling financing platforms that support capital lease solutions and asset-backed lending structures.  

Tom earned a Bachelor of Arts from Lawrence University.
