Many people think retirement is simply about leaving work.
Mesirow Wealth Advisor Gregg Lunceford, PhD, CFP®, believes it is much more than that.
During his conversation on The Matt Feret Show, Gregg explained that work provides important non-financial benefits, including the sense of psychological success that comes from recognition and accomplishment, the social connection built through relationships and daily interactions, and the structure that gives rhythm to our days.
Understanding these benefits can help people prepare for amore fulfilling and successful transition into retirement.
