Daniel Nyhan

Daniel J. Nyhan serves as Co-Head of Mesirow Realty Bridge Equity where he leads origination, structuring, underwriting, and execution of bridge capital investments across the Bridge Equity platform.

As Managing Director of Mesirow’s Sale-Leaseback Capital team, Dan is a key contributor to the group’s operations and strategic decision making. He works closely with sellers and their advisors to deliver certainty of execution and optimal tax and accounting outcomes.

Dan joined Mesirow in 2015. He previously spent nine years at Nuveen Asset Management, most recently as an Assistant Vice President in the Portfolio Advisory group supporting the firm's municipal bond Separately Managed Account platform.

Dan earned a Bachelor of Science from Miami University (Ohio) and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a member of the Chicago Booth Real Estate Alumni Group and serves on the Advisory Board for Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
