Nicola Smith is a Vice President FX Trader at Mesirow, responsible for executing trades across a broad range of OTC and exchange-traded derivatives for the firm’s institutional currency programs.

Prior to joining Mesirow, Nicola held senior trading and client-facing roles at Record Financial Group and Validus Risk Management. She brings technical FX trading expertise combined with a commercially driven, client-focused approach, adding value through disciplined execution, market insight and collaborative partnerships across institutional and private market clients, as well as global tier-one counterparty banks.

Nicola holds a Bachelor of Science in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Cass Business School, City University of London.
